Teacher's Guide and Photocopiable Worksheets
Target group: teenagers and adult learners at beginner level who
are either native speakers of English or have English as their
second language
Content: German and English are closely related - both being
Germanic languages. There are many similarities in elementary
grammar and hundreds of "common" words. The photocopiable
worksheets in Deutsch ist easy! draw students' attention to the
possibilities of transfer from English to German and show how
they can be put to good use. Examples are relevant for the most
part to beginners' courses for adult learners (CEF level A1).
There are some worksheets included that suit levels A2 and B1.
The book contains some 40 worksheets for listening and reading
comprehension, vocabulary and grammar practice. An Audio-CD is
included with listening texts and exercises practising emphasis
and intonation by comparing different examples and enabling
students to be aware of the differences.
