Connect, Second Edition, is a fun, four-level, multi-skills American English course especially written and designed for young adolescents. Connect Student's Book 1 is a beginning level text for students aged 11-15 who are learning English for the first time. It develops speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in engaging contexts. The Audio CD includes the Vocabulary, Language Focus, and Get Connected sections. Each Student's Book contains 8 units divided into 2-page lessons. These units include full-color photographs and illustrations, new Get Connected lessons which give students an opportunity to consolidate the language they are learning, and Theme Projects which enable students to use the unit language in a new and meaningful way.
